If you are coming to stay at Nimrod Lodge and have young children then you must visit South of England Rare Breeds Centre just outside Tenterden, it's 15 minutes away by car.
Set in 100 acres, the farm offers plenty of attractions to keep your children entertained;
- Tractor rides
- Pet the animals sessions
- Outdoor play fort / climbing frames / tunnels
- Owls, pigs, horses, sheep, ducks, goats and birds of prey
- Indoor play barns
- Pig racing in summer
- Butterfly Tunnel
The centre is home to Canterbury Oast Trust, a charity which supports over 160 adults who have learning and physical disabilities.
